Marathon Kids 2022

 Our senior girls are taking part in a programme called Marathon Kids this year.  

it is an 8 week programme where students will perform four running sessions each week inching them closer to completing their first marathon as well as learning about the benefits of physical activity.

There was a  great buzz around the school 

on February 1st as we celebrated St Brigid's Day.  

Each class made crosses or artwork to celebrate the day.

6 Week Challenge

Commencing January 6th our school will be taking part in the  Cavan Sports Partnership Keep Well Daily mile programme sessions are based on 15mins of active walking/jogging/running and can be anytime during school time. This does not include break time or PE time. 

This Programme will run for 6 weeks and each class is provided with a poster to record the progress of each class.

Crumlin Christmas Jumper Day 21

On Friday 10th December we celebrated National Christmas Jumper Day for Crumlin Hospital.

All pupils and staff turned festive wearing a wide variety of Christmas Jumpers to raise funds for this very worthy cause.  

All classes had a surprise visit from Santa's No. 1 Elf

'Elf Sniffles'

She read stories, played music and

 played games with all the children.

 She was a very funny Elf 😁😁

   

Christmas music was played at the gate in the morning 

and during break times we had lots of fun dancing and

 singing to lots of Christmas songs
