Fire Engine Visit

🚒🚒 The day the fire engine came to visit Junior & Senior infants. 🚒🚒

Oh what fun we had learning about the important work the emergency services carry out in our community. 

👏Massive thank you to the local firemen for giving up their time to visit our pupils. 👏

Green Schools Flag Award

🌎🌎We are absolutely delighted to share that the Convent of Mercy N.S, collected our seventh Green Flag, based on the theme of Global Citizenship  & Energy at an awards ceremony held in Athlone today. 

👏👏A special word of thanks to our wonderful Green school committee, Mrs. Hyland  & Mrs. Walsh for leading the various projects and initiatives throughout the year.

Road Safety Workshop

👏👏Many thanks to the Road Safety Authority 

for visiting each of the classrooms earlier this week to deliver a very educational 

and informative presentation on road & bike safety.👏👏

Our senior classes enjoyed coaching from tennis Ireland coach Ana today. 

🌞🎾Lots of fun in the sunshine coupled with learning new tennis skills.🌞🎾

The girls are already looking forward to next week .
